This review of face‐bow transfer on the outcome of a dental prosthesis fabrication included 15 RCTs involving 406 patients. All but one study reported either no difference or better outcomes without the use of the face-bow.

This review of the efficacy of denture adhesives (DAs) for complete dentures included 39 studies ( 23 RCTs and 16 CCTs). None of teh included studies were at low risk of bias with the findings suggesting that Denture adhesives can improve denture retention, bite force and masticatory performance of complete denture wearers.

23 studies were included in this review assessing the oral health-related quality of life (OHR- QoL ) of patients with partial edentulism after different dental prosthetic treatments. Both fixed tooth-supported and implant-supported dental prostheses improved OHR- QoL in the short and medium term.

This review of the use of dental implants to support removable partial dentures in Kennedy class I cases identified only 15 small observational studies. The review suggests that implant use improved patient satisfaction and masticatory ability. However, these findings should be interpreted with caution.
