This review of the efficacy of denture adhesives (DAs) for complete dentures included 39 studies ( 23 RCTs and 16 CCTs). None of teh included studies were at low risk of bias with the findings suggesting that Denture adhesives can improve denture retention, bite force and masticatory performance of complete denture wearers.

The review of the use of botulinum toxin type A injections in the management of primary bruxism in adults included 10 studies. Only 6 of the included studies were RCTs and the studies were generally small are very hetrogeneous so additional well designed and conducted RCTs are needed.

This review od conventional versus simplified verses conventional fabrication techniques for complete dentures included 19 RCTs. The findings suggest that there are no differences between the simple and conventional approaches in terms of patients satisfaction, masticatory efficiency and OHRQoL at least in the short term.

This review of the behaviour of overdentures supported by bar and clip or ball and O-ring attachments included 17 studies. The findings suggest no differences between the two sustems.

Only 5 small low quality studies were included in this review of botulinum toxin (BoNT-A ) injections for sleep bruxism. 3 of the included studies were RCTs and while a potential benefit from use of BoNT-A treatment was suggested the findings should be treated very cautiously.
