This review of metastasis to the oral and maxillofacial region included 217 studies (190 case reports,24 case series ). Metastasis were uncommon, but identified from 29 primary sites, the most common sites being lung the lungs (20.97%), breast (12.06%) and kidney (11.78%).

This Cochrane review upate compares the relative benefits and risks of different techniques for surgical removal of mandibular wisdom teeth. While the review includes 25 new trials the quality of the studies was variable with many having biases that could have influenced the findings so no meaningful conclusions could be drawn.

15 systematic reviews were included in this review of teh treament and management of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ). The reviews only identified weak evidence to support treatment protocols for MRONJ so high quality well reported RCTs are needed.
