A team of researchers from the University of Dundee are conducting a consensus study to identify core outcomes when assessing the effects of  treatment interventions for managing carious lesions.

The consensus study contributes to the international Core Outcome Measures in Effectiveness Trials initiative, which attempts to bring together patients, clinicians and researchers to identify which outcomes are most important and relevant to measure, in order to assist informed healthcare decision-making and improve future research.

  • The first round will commence in July 2018 over a 4-week period, and
  • the second round is anticipated to commence in August/September 2018.

Participants must be willing to contribute to each successive phase of consensus questionnaire (estimated to take approximately 20 minutes for each round) after initial survey completion.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact Colin Levey (Clinical lecturer and Study lead) by email
