Sarah Egan
Sarah is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, Curtin University, Perth, Australia. She has worked for over 20 years as a clinician, and her main research focus is the treatment of perfectionism and eating disorders in children and adolescents. She is interested in the understanding and treatment of perfectionism as it relates to symptoms of anxiety, depression and eating disorders. Her research has included trials of internet treatment for perfectionism in adolescents and young people. She is past president of the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. Sarah has published over 90 peer reviewed journal articles as well as several books on the treatment of perfectionism.
