Dr Sheehan is an Academic Clinical Fellow in intellectual disability. He is carrying out a project exploring the prescribing patterns of psychotropics in people with intellectual disabilities who have mental health problems or challenging behaviour. This project is based on a data from a primary care database. He is also interested in dementia research in people with intellectual disabilities.
