Nora is a junior doctor currently completing her foundation training in Austria and intending to become a psychiatrist. Prior to studying medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, she completed a BA in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. During her undergraduate degree, she conducted research on psychological characteristics of adults with childhood trauma and for her medical school thesis, she explored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health, sexuality, and family planning among women with rheumatic diseases. Nora is particularly interested in the interplay of physical and psychiatric comorbidites, women’s mental health, perinatal psychiatry, and the role of the immune system in mental health.
