I am a medical doctor currently undergoing specialist training in psychiatry. I graduated at San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy, where I first started to work as an intern in the psychiatric inpatient unit. I then moved to the University of Turin where I am currently training to become a psychiatrist. Throughout my career I have always coupled clinical and research activity, with a specific focus on mood disorders and specifically on treatment-resistant depression and bipolar disorder. I now hold a position as specialty doctor in clinical research at the NIHR Oxford Health Clinical Research Facility, and I will complete my specialist training in early 2025 before starting a PhD course in neurosciences at the University of Turin.
