Martin Køster Rimvall completed his PhD in 2020, having examined the clinical significance of subclinical psychotic experiences in the Copenhagen Child Cohort 2000. Apart from psychosis in youths, he is also interested in health anxiety and unexplained medical symptoms and their potential overlap with psychosis development. He is currently working clinically in an in-patient ward in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services and sees his future in working with youths with severe mental illness both clinically and in research.
In their debut blog, Martin Rimvall and Pia Jeppesen summarise a recent systematic review and meta-analysis exploring psychosis risk in children and adolescents with an ‘At Risk Mental State’.
