Lauren is a Research Assistant in the Youth Resilience Unit at Queen Mary University of London. She is currently working on the UNITE project, which investigates how loneliness develops in young people from socio-economically marginalised backgrounds using a multi-method, co-produced approach. Lauren’s research interests include youth loneliness, the impact of social inequality on mental health, and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents.
Lauren Turner summarises a feasibility trial which finds that interpretation bias modification training is acceptable for helping with loneliness in university students.
