Laura splits her time between research and working in a clinical setting as an assistant psychologist. Laura is a doctoral researcher at the University of Westminster, London, with her research broadly focusing on self-harm amongst University students. Laura is currently working on the CHERISH project, exploring the role of those providing support for student self-harm. As an assistant psychologist, Laura works within the Clinical Health Psychology team at Alder Hey Children’s hospital in Liverpool. Laura specifically works within the craniofacial team, and is currently conducting research around neurodevelopmental outcomes amongst children with specific craniofacial diagnoses. Laura also conducts local audits and clinically related research for the psychology service.
