Karolin is a post-doctoral researcher, affiliated with the Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, Canada (contractor), and with the Evidence Based Practice United at University College London (honorary research fellow). Karolin's research focuses on strengthening outcome measurement in child and adolescent mental health, with a focus on promoting the consistency and youth-centredness of measurement approaches. Karolin uses mixed methods in her research, and has a particular interest in the development of consensus-based core outcome sets for child mental health. Karolin obtained a PhD in Evidence-Based Child and Adolescent Mental Health from University College London. Karolin previously spent several years conducting impact evaluations in the UK’s international aid sector, and as a policy analyst with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
