James studied medicine at Brighton and Sussex Medical School where he developed a passion for psychiatry. He has worked in liaison psychiatry, acute inpatient wards, rehabilitation and in older adults psychiatry. He now works as a core trainee in liaison psychiatry at King’s College Hospital. His main interests are psychosis, with a focus on early intervention.
