I am an early career Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, The University of Sydney. I am working on the Inroads study, a randomised controlled trial examining the efficacy of an online, cognitive behavioural therapy-based early intervention to reduce anxiety and hazardous alcohol use among young people. I completed my PhD in 2023, investigating the common and complex comorbidity of substance use disorder, disordered eating and post-traumatic stress disorder in young people. As part of my PhD, I also worked on a randomised control trial examining the efficacy of a treatment for co-occurring substance use disorder and traumatic stress among young people (12-25 years of age). I have previously held positions as a Research Officer at the Matilda Centre, University of Sydney (2018-2024), National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales (2013-2018), and the Emotional Health Clinic, Macquarie University (2012-2014) working across a number of projects with young people and adults.
