Hollie has lived experience of community mental health services, inpatient treatment (on a voluntary and involuntary basis) and a variety of talking therapies. She has trained many staff around the difficulties described as ‘personality disorder’ and works to help people avoid prolonged detention in “specialist” units. Hollie is a integrative counsellor, lived experience lead for Beam Consultancy and serves on the executive committee of the British and Irish Group for the Study of “Personality Disorder”.
