40 years working in NHS, and still going. As a general practitioner and psychiatrist, I have worked at the interface throughout my professional career. Past Chair and Past President of Royal College of General Practitioners (only second woman in its 75-year history to hold both leadership roles. Established and led NHS Practitioner Health Service from 2008 to 2022, a service which now sees around 6000 health professionals with mental health and addiction issues. Currently, lead an NHS service for those with gambling-related harms, NHS Primary Care Gambling Service.
